Call For Papers - Portuguese Economic History Workshop
Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon
Lisbon, December 12, 2011
Following the already established research tradition originated by the Iberometrics Conferences, which since its first meeting in 2003 encourage discussion on Iberian economic history, the Portuguese Economic History Workshop is designed to provide extensive discussion of new and innovative research in Portuguese economic history.
Researchers are invited to disseminate and exchange ideas on their more recent work covering any subject or period of Portuguese economic history. Papers should be written in English and have a quantitative focus.
Accepted papers will be commented first by a discussant and then by the general audience.
Anyone wishing to present a paper should send a 500 word abstract by no later than June 20th, 2011 to firstname.lastname@example.org. Decisions regarding acceptance will be sent out no later than July 8th, 2011. Final versions of the accepted papers are expected by no later than November 12th, 2011.
Papers will be circulated to all participants prior to the meeting and published on the workshop webpage.
The organization will be able to cover limited local costs.
